Who am I?
My name is Rik Karmakar and I am a Cyber Security Professional based in Wellington, New Zealand. I have been working in the industry since 2020 and currently work for Bastion Security Group. My interests lie in penetration testing, podcasting, security research and security consulting.
Background
I moved to New Zealand in 2016 from India and studied Software Engineering at the University of Otago. I graduated in 2019 and got my first job as a graduate security consultant in KPMG. Since then, I have loved everyday of my life and have never looked back.
